The regional jet plane of a new generation AN-148 carried out its first international commercial flight on the route Odesa-Moscow (Sheremetievo), the Industrial Policy Ministry's press release reads.

It is expected that in the future the plane will make three to five flights a week on this route.

Earlier, the plane conveyed passengers only on Ukraine's regional routes. Since June 2, 2009, and till early December the plane made 460 flights and conveyed about 21,000 passengers.
