In compliance with item 14, part 1, article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine President Viktor Yushchenko submitted the nomination of Valentyn Nalyvaychenko for the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the presidential press service reported.

Mr Nalyvaychenko is presently acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
