Reception for the representatives of Ukrainian Community and Diaspora in Belgium on the occasion of 19th anniversary of the Ukrainian Independence

On 7 September 2010, the reception for Ukrainian Community on the occasion of 19th anniversary of the Ukrainian Independence was held at the Embassy of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium.

Among participants of the event were representatives of Ukrainian organizations, art groups, administration of Ukrainian schools, student youth organizations, priesthoods, Ukrainian mass-media and Diplomatic Corps, accredited in Belgium:

The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium, Mr. Ihor Dolhov welcomed the participants in a statement. In particular, he emphasized the importance of the cooperation with Ukrainian Community to the benefit of further development of Ukrainian-Belgian relations.

The participants of the event had a possibility to get acquainted with the personal exhibition of Ukrainian origin Belgian painter Mrs. L.Torgan and to exchange their thoughts on the current state and perspectives of cooperation between Ukrainian Community and the Embassy.
