President Yanukovych welcomed in Berlin by Chancellor Merkel

President Viktor Yanukovych was officially welcomed in Berlin by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Following mutual presentation of members of the delegations of both countries, military orchestra performed anthems of both states, and the two leaders passed the honor guard.

Among members of Ukrainian delegation are Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Tihipko, Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko, Minister of Fuel and Energy Yuriy Boyko, Interior Minister Anatoliy Mohylev, Chief of Presidential Staff Serhiy Lyovochkin.

After the welcoming ceremony Viktor Yanukovych and Angela Merkel proceeded to the German Chancellery for a working lunch.
