1.619 million tons of grain exported this my - expert

The volume of grain exports from Ukraine since the beginning of this marketing year (25 days of August plus July) has totaled 1.619 million tons, despite the fact that last year over the same period 3.946 million tons were exported, or 2.4 times more.

Grain export in this period more than 3 times less then was exported than in 2009. Thus, during the said period in 2009, 1.791 million tons were exported, and this year - 505 thousand tons.

The Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk reported earlier, the Government would not consider soon the possibility of introducing quotas on grain exports.
