The official ceremony of the Belgian EU Presidency Opening

Representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine took part in events devoted to the beginning of the Belgian Presidency of the European Union.

On July 1 the Belgian European Movement has organized in Mini-Europe Park the march of celebration with the participation of European counties’ representatives. Ukrainian representative was placed in the column of marchers in the close vicinity of Ambassadors of Spain, Belgium and Hungary which presidencies in EU succeed during 2010 – beginning 2011.

On 7 July the Embassy has participated on the official ceremony of the Belgian EU Presidency Opening in the premises of the Brussels Stock Exchange and on 9 July – on the official reception on the occasion of the Flemish Day and Belgian EU Presidency.
