The Cabinet of Ministers has approved of amendments to the law on the customs tariff, Minister of Economy Bohdan Danylyshyn has said on Wednesday.

According to him, the initiative 'is harmonizing the customs tariff with the Harmonized System 2007 in pursuance of international commitments undertaken within the International Convention on Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System.

Danylyshyn emphasized that this would let 'speed up and simplify the customs clearance procedure' for economic entities.
