The Bethlehem Light of Peace has arrived in Kyiv. The Bethlehem Torch has been handed over to the Ukrainian churches at the Ivan Honchar Museum.

The Bethlehem Light went to the representatives of four churches: the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church and the Rome-Catholic Church.

As reported, the Lviv scouts from the Plast - National Scout Organization of Ukraine took on December 15 a scout baton of spreading the Bethlehem Torch from the Polish Harzers on the Ukraine-Poland border.

On December 12, the Ukrainian scouts participated in the public prayer in Vienna and the Torch then toured via Austria to Poland and now Ukraine. In their turn, the Ukrainian scouts will hand on the Bethlehem Torch to scouts from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Moldova.

The next day, December 20, the Lviv scouts will bring the Bethlehem Torch to Ukraine's highest Goverla Mountain.
