The Verkhovna Rada has ratified an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Russian government regarding the measures to protect technologies within cooperation in the area of exploring and using outer space for peaceful purposes, as well as in creating and employing rocket-and-space and rocket technology.

The treaty provides for a number of measures and procedures at international and national levels aimed at protecting technologies that are being developed during creation and use of rocket-and-space technologies.

The instrument also envisages the procedures of customs clearance for the protected items and technologies, and settlement of disputes, as well as issues in case of emergency.
