During the meeting the sides have discussed the whole range of Ukrainian-Belgian relations as well as European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine.

"Belgium, as a representative of the old Europe, is our special partner. Through the Belgian mission we can solve a significant portion of Ukrainian issues in Europe", said Victor Yushchenko in an interview to Ukrainian media.

According to him, much discussion was devoted to the development of economic and investment cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium and the sectors of of the Ukrainian economy, which could be attractive for Belgian investors.
